Hello Doyle,
That’s a fine looking grandson you have there. And that guitar is still Orange!
Maybe you still remember me from St Louis April 8th, I asked you to play Be Still and you did, and signed my T5 and played it. I think of you every day, you are quite an inspiration to me and a gift from the LORD. Praying for you and your family. God bless you beyond all your dreams. Happy Thanksgiving.
By the way, could I possibly persuade you to video yourself playing Be Still up close so I could learn to play it? U tube videos are not clear enough, and it’s hard for me trying to learn it as I have a 95 percent hearing loss in both ears from the service in 1967. Because of that I can’t hear everything you’re playing and I can’t read music. I learn mostly by watching you play. Thanks Doyle.

Thanks also for letting me get a picture with you. It’s my wallpaper on my computer to remind me to pray for you every day. God bless!

Absolutely precious. He is a treasure. Hope you and Rita and the rest of your family have a awesome Thanksgiving. This is my favorite holiday. Would love to catch up with you and Ms Rita, sometime. Enjoying your music and your talented kids. God is great. lLove ya, Kent and Betty
As a guitar player and father of a lovely 2 yr old daughter (who is already singing Yellow Submarine and strumming away on a mini guitar tuned to Open G — much to daddy’s glee)
the clip of you with your lovely grandchild brought a big smile to me!!
Used to see your Taylor clinics a lot in the late 90s when I lived in MI. Been in Asheville for a decade, saw you here at Musicians’ Workshop a few yrs ago, and that was a great thrill once again.
I sure do miss Bob’s monthly presentations. But, with the Swananoa Gathering 15 minutes up the road from me, I have no complaints!
